A good jobs bill (one in a series)

Now here’s a jobs bill that ought to be enacted.

Consider these facts:

Nearly half of all the jobs in the state require middle-skills training, which is a skills level that is more than a high school diploma but less than a four-year degree. But only a third of the state’s workers have the education required to hold these jobs.

That gap is why we need the Middle Skills Solution Act, Senate Bill 921. Good jobs are out there, and this bill will provide more opportunities for workers to get the training necessary to fill them.
